    Sample Itinerary: (7 days and 6 nights) (Min. 2 pax)


    Day 1: Bari/Matera

    Arrival in Bari airport. Transfer to Matera. Arrival at the hotel ****in Matera and check –in of the rooms. Accommodation, dinner at the restaurant and overnight.

    Day 2: Matera

    Breakfast at the hotel. Guided visit to the famous “Sassi” which are rocky installations, developed from the High Middle Ages, along the steed tuff walls of the Gravina stream. Benedectin and Greek monks lived in the caves, previously used by the prehistoric man. Today is possible to admire more than 150 rock churches, which are frescoed and often situated in ravines difficult to reach. The UNESCO has recognized the “Sassi” as “humanity’s patrimony”.

    Dinner at the restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

    Day 3: Castellana/Alberobello

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Valle d’Itria: will visit the Grotte of Castellana: fantastic stalactites, stalagmites, incredible shapes fossils, canyons and caves: which are one of the most important attractions of Puglia and natural heritage of inestimable value to Italy. Transfer to Alberobello and guided visit to its “trulli”, old stone buildings and conical declared from the UNESCO “humanity’s patrimony”. Transfer to Lecce, arrive at the hotel **** and check-in of the rooms. Accommodation, Dinner at the restaurant and overnight stay.

    Day 4: Lecce/Gallipoli

    Breakfast at the hotel. Guided visit to Lecce, the “Florence of the South” or the “Florance of the Baroque”: the ancient origins messapiche and the archaeological remains of Roman mingle with the richness and exuberance of the Baroque, typically seventeenth century, - churches and buildings in the center. Will visit the Basilica of Santa Croce, the Anfiteatro Romano, the historic center. In the afternoon continuation to Gallipoli: a beautiful town of the Salento, its name derives from the Greek –kalè polis- meaning “Beautiful City” . It is divided into two parts, a small island encloses the Old City and a bridge linking the newest part of the city. Will visit the Basilica of Sant’Agata, unique example of Baroque Lecce and the Angevin Castle. Dinner at the restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

    Day 5: Bari

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Bari, the capital of Puglia. Guided visit to the Basilica of San Nicola that houses the relics of San Nicolas: stands imposingly in the Old Town of Bari. Continuation of the guided visit to the Norman Castle, Piazza Ferrarese e Mercantile and the historic center. Arrive at the hotel **** and check in of the rooms, accommodation and dinner at the restaurant.

    Day 6: Trani /Barletta / Castel del Monte

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Trani: art city of artistic and architectural treasures that recall a glorious past. Will visit the magnificent cathedral that stands on the sea. Continuation to Barletta and guided visit to the old town (full of ancient buildings and churches of great historical and artistic importance) and to the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore that reached its peak during the Crusades, acting as a transit point for pilgrims travelling to the Holy Land; continue to the Castle: the original nucleus dates back to the eleventh century, is Norman, as evidenced by the higher tower incorporated in the southern area of the building, during the Crusades became habitual shelter for riders and departing and arriving from the Holy Land; and finally guided visit to the Colosso of Barletta: the giant bronze statue “Heraclius” characterized by a man in imperial robes late Roman and Byzantine. Transfer to Castel del Monte: it is an octagonal building of the thirteenth century built by Emperor Frederick II in Puglia, UNESCO included it in the list of World Heritage Sites by the astronomical and mathematical rigor of its forms and the harmonious union of cultural elements from northern Europe, the Islamic world and classical antiquity, a typical example of architecture military in the Middle Ages.
    Return to the hotel, Dinner at the restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

    Day 7:

    Breakfast at the hotel. Check out of the rooms and depart for the transfer to Bari airport in good time for the flight.
