  • NEW YEAR IN VENICE

    27 Dec 10 ~ 02 Jan 11

    €1265

    per person/twin room share

Masks, Murano glass and mayhem in St. Mark's Square - that's how people start their New Year in Venice. People gather at the historic piazza and wait eagerly for the clock to strike 12 at midnight. Marked by ringing of the bell of St. Mark's campanile, comes the New Year. All this followed by a huge display of fireworks and people greeting each other and you have the fun filled New Year in Venice in front of you on the much-awaited night of the year.

New Years Day is not less exciting with around forty people taking the New Year's dip on the Lido island in the festival called "Auguri di Capodanno sulla spiaggia del Lido di Venezia". This famous festival takes place at the Blue Moon Beach and begins at 11.30 am with a large dose of music been played to welcome one and all. All this and much more await to be explored and enjoyed during the New Year in Venice.
